For any procrastinators who have waited last minute for a Valentine’s Day look Yvonne and I have you ladies covered. Check out more detailed shots of her outfits on her blog tejanamaluca.com.
For the first look we both went for menswear inspired looks and that was totally not planned but I loved that we were both on the same page. She paired her red coat with black jogger-like pants. I paired my thrifted pink blazer with some wide leg ankle pants from Uniqlo.
For the shoes I decided to keep it bold and wore some red low heels from DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse). For the top I wore my usual and favorite off-the-shoulder top from Cotton On. I liked creating a menswear look but with a more “feminine” color in this case the pink tones.
On the second outfit I wore a black skirt with a dark floral shirt from the thrift store. The day we shot these photos was a very cold day so I had to pair the outfit with tights and a beret to stay warm. Usually Texas winters aren’t that cold but I feel like this year has been a cold one. Yvonne wore a sleeveless maxi dress for her second look and bless her heart because it was so cold that way ( yes I repeat it was cold!)
We had fun creating four outfits to help inspire those without a clue on what to wear. Wether you’re having dinner with family, going out for drinks with a friends or enjoying a romantic dinner with that special one. You can take your personal style and tie in some Valentine’s Day elements. Think of reds or pinks if you’re not a fan of color even that little black dress (LBD) and some red lipstick will do the trick.
those red heels are fab
