Classic western inspired pieces have made their way into the wardrobe of stylish influential bloggers. Western vibes have a predominant influence on festival wear. Look up pictures from this year and previous Coachella looks and concho belts, boleros, wide brim hats and bandannas make an appearance on festival goer outfits.

Some of my favorite bloggers such as Dylana Suarez and the Youtube gals from The Fashion Citizen have rocked the neck ties and concho belts for a while. I was watching a style video from The Fashion Citizen about two summers ago, and Melissa mentioned that western wear inspired pieces would be “in” soon. At that point I didn’t really agree with her but as time passed she was right.

Even before this trend became “mainstream”light wash denim, ankle boots and wide brim hats have always played a homage to western wear. In this look I tried to incorporate some of my favorite western looks. The tan colored faux suede paired paired with a printed button up along with the concho belt gave me my take on modern western vibes. Of course I wore black my ankle boots to complete the look. I haven’t found a wide brim hat I’ve loved yet, but I feel like a hat would have taken the outfit to a whole new level.

Hope you enjoy the outfit and don’t be shy to wrap a red or navy bandanna around your neck to tie your look together.
