Greetings my blog friends I’m back with a late weekly post. If any of you guys have watched my thrift haul  from late October you may have seen this pink over sized blazer. My sister saw this at our local Goodwill when we were thrift shopping and I fell in love with it. As soon as she showed it to me endless ideas of how I could style it popped into my head. I have to credit her for showing me this piece.

I love the way it fits big and over sized but very chic. Even since I grew interested in style  a trusty blazer was my to go classic piece. Blazers dress up any outfits no matter what. Well at least in my case. I love pairing my  favorite t-shirts with skirts or pants. Then I throw on a blazer to bring a dressed down casual look up a notch.

I don’t have many pink pieces but I think this color is versatile to wear year round. On spring breezy day this blazer would look great with other pastel colors and light floral print pieces.

For this outfit I decide to start with a casual base outfit. A cropped t-shirt from Goodwill, my only and favorite TopShop jeans  and of course my pointed slip-ons from TopShop as well. To bring the look together and make it less frumpy I added the pink blazer that went great with the colors printed on the t-shirt. This look could be a bit dressier if flats or heels were added. For a cool casual look some sneakers are a great comfortable option.

Next time you’re not feeling like dressing up, but you need to look presentable play around with some t-shirt outfits and add the finishing touch of a blazer.
